Holy Days of Obligation in the Catholic Church

  • January 1: The Feast of Mary, the Mother of God
  • August 15: Assumption of Mary into heaven
  • November 1: All Saints' Day
  • December 8: The Feast of the Immaculate Conception
  • December 25: Christmas, the Nativity of Our Lord

Note:  Whenever January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, or August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption, or November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is removed.

Christmas Masses
Christmas Eve: 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Vigil Masses
Midnight Mass:  12:00 AM Mass During the Night
Christmas Early Morning: 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM Mass at Dawn
Christmas Day: 9:15 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:15 PM Mass during the Day

Palm Sunday
Saturday Evening:  5:00 PM Vigil Mass
Sunday:  6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:15 AM, 10:45 AM, 12:15 PM, and 5:30 PM

Easter Sunday
Easter Vigil Saturday Evening: After sunset, specific time can vary from year to year
Easter Sunday:  6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:15 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:15 PM
